Seems like everywhere we turn lately we hear people talking about retirement income.
Whether they need more of it, or maybe have sufficient already, or even why should they need to provide it themselves at all.

Whichever way you look at it, an income after we retire from the everyday worklife is an absolute must!

Many people have set themselves up with wonderful skilled places in the total economy of their country of abode, while others have had to just walk through life doing menial tasks for their bread and butter as it were.

Those who have had the foresight to become skilled in theirs occupations will usually have a very reasonable income to depend upon in their later years. However, there are masses of folk who fall into the other category of not having skills, or at least not documented skills, which makes a very significant difference to how much money they have to spend in their retirement years.

People everywhere are talking about “The Baby Boomers” now. Those folk who have grown up since the war years. There are myths around all over the World, that these folk don’t have sufficient income to allow them to purchase the “latest and greatest” appliances or toys or clothing. That is a load of old clobbers!

Most of these so called “Baby Boomers” have learned in the school of “hard knocks” how to save for what we term the “rainy day”. Consequently, marketers need to begin reaching out to some of these folk with their advertising. After all, not every man or woman is a teen-ager or 30 something’s.

Just because they are no longer in the work force as such, does not preclude them from purchases of anything at all. Whenever you see Ads on TV etc, you find they are oriented towards the younger folk. This is a big mistake on their part.

However, this is not about showing the advertisers how to do their jobs, it’s about helping pensioners online, learn that, yes, they can increase their income by learning how to work a computer and thus add another string to their bow, so to speak.

Computers are a tremendous aid to many people nowadays. In fact I sometimes wonder how we got by without htem, yet it isn’t all that long ago that we started using them!

Making money online has been given a very bad name over recent years, yet there are many genuine places where one can actually add a significant extra portion to their bank balances.

Affiliate Marketing has been a very large help in making this possible. People like Ros Gardiner who wrote detailed books on exactly how to do Affiliate marketing made a huge difference to many online pensioners, just like myself.

Nowadays, Blogging has become almost the “norm” because it is really so simple to begin by using a Blog or Daily Journal type page.

Now we have some wonderful skilled operators who are beginning to share their hard earned skills in this filed with those of us not so skilled.
For me personally, I will be forever grateful to several people in this area, in particular, people like Alex Sysoef and Noel Springer,also Jon Leger who actually was the beginning of my search for more information this new Blogging Online idea! As I sit here and write this page today I am acutely aware of how much I owe in terms of help and skills to these and many more people online who have been responsible for helping me to “Focus” and stop procrastinating. Also for enabling me to see that I was just as capable as the next person in learning how to make money online, through whatever medium I choose to.
for some time I thought I could do it all on my own. False Pride is what that is called! In every new area or learning curve in our lives we all need to learn from someone who “has been there, done that” so that we don’t end up trying to re-invent the wheel, or worse still, giving up before we have really tried.
