 I would like to use this page as an Introduction and a little explanation of

I was so proud of this Bougainvillea, it had almost died, and now look at it.

brings me to this site. I tend to ramble a bit  as this medium was not around when I was at school, and its only since my children grew up and went their own journeys of life, that I have set about endeavouring to understand how this marvellous piece of equipment Works!!

Please forgive me if I don’t stick exactly to topic or whatever.

Recently, (during last 2 years) my husband and I moved to the lower part of New Zealand, as that was where I was born, and most of my family were still down there.

Little place called Riverton in Southland is where I was born.

Here is one of the spots we lived in while we were there.

Taken from our deck in front of our house which we rented while there.

This area here was looking towards the open sea from our deck, just above the Fishing boat harbour immediately below us.

When we looked the other way we could see the huge estuary which was the place where the rivers joined and became one.

It was a magnificient spot to live.

As you can no doubt imagine, I really didnt want to move away from there but  it was necessary so we left after about 18months of absolutely Idyllic living!

Here I am using WordPress which is a fabulous Tool! It took me quite a bit of learning, but I admit I had fantastic help form a couple of gentlemen who really do know WordPress inside out as they say.

Look up the names of Alex Sysoef and Guido W. Stiehle. You will find they know just about everything we need to know regarding WordPress and how to use it.

One of them calls their site  easywebtutorials, and the other is howtospoter. I have deliberately not itemized their web sites here so you can do a little personal research if you are really interested in finding them, but also because I wouldn’t like to think they got any spammers etc because of anything I put in here.

They truly are gentlemen, and yes, they do look aftert their clients extremely well.

As I learn more and more about Tools for the Internet and how to use them to help pensioners earn online, or as some would say, make some extra dollars online, (smile) I will add to my findings here on my blog.

I realize many of you will probably think I jump around from subject to subject, but its just the way I write.

Even at school I had to sit and write the only way I knew how when it came to time for essays. Otherwise it never seemed to get done. (smile)

However, now that I am a Great-Gran and into my 70′s I am sure you will allow me some space to ramble and still get everything you need in the right place for your needs.

I have raised 11 children all told, of which 6 were step-children.

I now have many Grand-children scattered all over the country of New Zealand and also in some places overseas.

Here’s a picture taken of a portion of my family as my Daughter was about to leave New Zealand for England. She’s the one standing right in front. My youngest Son and his Partner and family are also here. We all had a lovely time that day although a little sadness there too.  Her own children were now grown up and she was ready at last to have her turn at seeing the world and getting to work overseas. She has been away from our shores now for over 3 years and she loves her ability to work and travel in different places.

I’ve been  a person of many talents over the years, and twice had my own business, but bank criteria forced us out of both of them.

We used to do cut, make and trim for some of the larger clothing factories, but the banks decided to stop all the small bits going out and basically forced the bigger companies to use thier own factories instead of contracting out.

Then I decided to put my talents to use in a Car Detailing Business, only to receive almost exactly the same experience as before from a “Bank Credit Squeeze” as they called it.

So once the children were all grown up and had left home to raise their own families etc, I found myself becoming rather bored with the same old, same old every day.

I was watching My Son one day, who is now a Computer Programmer etc, to some huge companies in London, (rather thrilled with what he did with his life)  and thought now if I vould use one of those things maybe I could get some office work or something at home. It really just looked a bit more up-market to an electric type-writer, to which I was quite accustomed to working.

so slowly the wheels began to turn, and after many months of having my son tell me in answer to my many questions, “You don’t need to knoe Mum” I got mad and thought Yes I do need to know, so I began a very large, many year-ed journey of learning the ins and outs of working computers to make a living.

The worst thing I ever did was to chase all the pipe dreams of “fast Cash”. All that is good for is causing you to spend more than you should when it really isnt going to make you rich overnight at all! No matter whether your business is made of concrete and glass or just working on a computer at home, there is still “‘work” to be done and the learning of what tools and how to work them.

hopefully I have scared anyone off in my rather large ramble. I have jsut written cown where I am, and where I came from to get here today.

I will end this by saying I absolutely enjoy every minute of my time doing this job. Much more so than any other job I ever had in the corporate world.

Its fascinating, and every day there is still so much to learn from one angle or another.
